What to Wear
Certificates:A bachelor gown only. | Image to come
Diplomas:A bachelor gown and a Massey stole. If your prior degree is from an overseas university you will need to obtain your own hood. Assuming you are unable to obtain your own robes from overseas, you should wear the Diploma Stole, with the addition of a trencher to signal your graduate status. You cannot wear a Massey hood as that would signal that you hold that degree, which is not true [Note - you do not wear a stole and a hood together.] If you are receiving a degree and a diploma at these ceremonies you may wear the degree robes for both awards. It is not practicable to change between hood and stole during a ceremony. | Image to come
